Ha! I was relieved to read an interview with Schulze in which someone asked him about the, um, risque parodies of Peanuts and he laughed and said something to the effect of, “Oh, well. I suppose that’s part of life.”
As long as credit is given, I’m all about parodies!
Parodies can be good as long as they don’t land you in court.
I figured my comic isn’t popular enough to draw attention from the big boys! 🙂
Although having said that I have a strip I did some time ago of an Al-Quaeda parody. I so badly wanna post it but the way things are these days & how touchy people can be I’m not game now to post it. I could end up in big trouble or even dead. My wife has told me “It’s funny but don’t even think of posting it on your website ‘cos you just don’t know what serious repercussions it could cause”
